What our guests say …

Pebbles is amazing. Every inch of the house has been thought about to make it all as comfortable and relaxing for guests as possible. I can't wait to come back!

When we go to a holiday home, we generally choose it for convenience, price and child-friendliness : Pebbles had all of that but didn't compromise at all in terms of interiors. So cooking there was a joy, sitting around watching TV was a joy, because it's all so well thought out to create a really beautiful looking relaxing space.”

— Aoife

“We had a fantastic, relaxing stay at Pebbles. The house is a great layout (with a nook for everyone) and the interior design and decor are fabulous. Well equipped with books, games & dvd's to entertain all when the weather is not so kind! Lovely stroll into Whitstable & stunning sunsets on the walk back. Good base to explore surrounding areas too.”

— Kay

“Gorgeous home-from-home (although it’s better than my actual home!) by the sea. Comfortable, well-equipped, relaxing environment. Great communication, including useful local tips, from Nikki and Hayley.”

— Rachel

“Nikki has thought of everything for a wonderful break. Pebbles is very stylishly decorated and feels very luxurious, the beds are super comfy and there is everything you need. She provided a travel cot, baby bath and highchair, there is also baby plates and cutlery which meant we didn’t have to pack all that. There is a fabulous outdoor kitchen and dining area and an amazing playroom which my toddler absolutely loved. It’s easy to walk to Whitstable and a short drive to Faversham and Canterbury. A perfect location for short break from London!”

— Lesley

“Nikki has created hotel standard accommodation in her lovely house in Seasalter. Everything about the house is very high quality and no time or expense has been spared in ensuring guests are comfortable in surroundings which are an excellent balance of stylish yet cosy. The entertaining area was the highlight for us as the open plan element was perfect for our kids to run around and enjoy.”

— Gemma

We had such a lovely stay at Pebbles. The house is so beautifully styled so even with the horrible rainy grey day we had on Saturday, it was such a pleasure to hang out in! We had everything we needed and the house has so many beautiful details and personal touches, you can tell Nikki has poured her heart into it. It's a five minute walk to the beach so my children were very happy to put their wellies on, throw stones and find crabs there. They also loved the playroom. We'd love to come back next summer so we can make use of the BBQ and outside area!

— Steph

“Amazing weekend at Pebbles, brilliant location moments from the beach. Spacious house with beautiful decor. Outside space of dreams. Nikki has thought about every detail and we will be returning when we can. The kids loved it and the playroom is an added bonus for the kids and adults.”

— Charlotte

“We had the most wonderful stay at Pebbles. Everything was carefully thought of, comfortable and stylish. The communication with Nikki before and during our stay was fabulous. We had made some wonderful memories (including our 1yr old started walking independently during our stay), we will definitely be returning! x”

— Pat

“We loved our stay at Pebbles - the house is beautifully appointed, everything feels so well designed and such high quality, thoughtfully set out and wonderful location so close to the beach.”

— Clare

“We had a great New Year weekend at Pebbles. The house is perfect for a family of five with children aged 2, 6 and 9. As the weather was typical for winter, we made use of all the family games and the log fire. My youngest also spent a long time in the playroom, which meant we could have several cups of coffee in peace. Whitstable is our old stumping ground so we revisited many of our old haunts like the Neptune pub in Whitstable. We did find a pub which was up on the hill en route to Whitstable, which made you feel like you were on holiday (I forget the name of it) - it has a good outdoor area that overlooks the sea and has a playground - we had a quick drink here on New Year's day when the weather was beautiful!”

— Diane and Paul

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at Pebbles. Just the perfect walking distance from everything in Whitstable but with the added peace and quiet of Sea Salter. Pebbles is a true home from home, so comfy and cosy.“

— Vanessa

“Pebbles was the writers retreat I didn’t know I needed. Such a spacious, stylish and zen house! I loved my sunset strolls on whitstable beach too. The food scene is fantastic. The beds are also an absolute dream and as a fussy sleeper I slept so well.”

— Emily

“I stayed at Pebbles for three nights mid-week at the beginning of January. Not the usual time for a trip to the seaside but it was amazing. From the moment I contacted Nikki to enquire about the booking right through to check out, nothing was too much trouble for her or Hayley, the property manager. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and an eye mask had been added for me knowing that I was going to Pebbles for some relaxation. The house was immaculately clean, and has a very homely, calm feeling. Nikki has thought of everything you could need for your stay. The house is super quiet, private and just minutes walk from the beach. The shower has great pressure, the beds are super comfy and the towels were super soft. There were games, dvds and books galore along with a SMART TV and SKY. All in all I would highly recommend a stay at Pebbles, it feels like a luxury home away from home.”

— Clare

“We were not disappointed! It actually looks as good as it does on Instagram and is bigger than we expected. Very comfy beds and you can tell a thought has been put into Pebbles to make guests feel at home. Such a great location as well, we will definitely be back in summer!”

— Adele

“What an amazing weekend! Considering it was October, we witnessed two of the most beautiful sunsets on the beach (which is only a couple of mins away). Pebbles is so cosy. We walked so much in the day so it was lovely to come back, pop the log burner on and chill with a film and a glass of wine. Boys loved the choice of games to play and also how comfy the beds were!!”

— Claire

“We had the most amazing time at Pebbles. It is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in, and the fact it was also so good for our 18 month old daughter was the icing on the cake. The playroom is just a genius idea, she was occupied whilst we could use the pink BBQ and drink wine, heaven! We really didn’t want to leave and have already booked to come back in November, the earliest date possible! Well done Nikki, pebbles is a triumph and we can’t wait to return!.”

— Rosalind

“Oh Pebbles, such a fabulous place to stay! Just a short ride from London it was the mini-break I needed - a space to relax and also to work. The simplicity of booking, accessing the property and everything about my stay was second to none. I can't wait to go back!”

— Bina

“We had a fantastic stay at Pebbles. The house is gorgeous, Nikki has done a fabulous job, the decor is lovely and it really makes for a relaxing stay. We stayed with 4 children, and it had everything they needed, they particularly loved the playroom and the huge bath!

The location is great, a really short walk to the local beach which is very quiet, and a short drive to Whitstable with all its lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. Also a short drive to various Sandy beaches. Thanks Nikki, I certainly hope to be back again another time!”

— Sarah

“Our stay at Pebbles was the perfect end to the summer holidays and one we would highly recommend. The house was ideal for our needs, we were two families and the space was a brilliant mix for both children and adults, plenty of room for them to play and us to relax too. The location was great, even though not in Whitstable itself, a pleasant 40 min walk, but with the beach on the doorstep. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and decorated beautifully. A real treat! x”

— Harri

“We had a wonderful stay at Pebbles. The house itself was pristine, the beds were really comfortable and everything you could ever need was provided. There is so much to do in the surrounding area, we had a brilliant time exploring although we would have been happy to spend the whole weekend in the play room or relaxing in front of the fire.”

— Keri

“We had an incredible weekend at Pebbles celebrating my husband’s 40th! The house is a real home from home - beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could ever need through your stay. We walked to Whitstable, enjoyed the local ales, played on the beach and relaxed at home with the kids - the playroom is a total game change for adult down time too! Thanks so much for having us”

— Kirsty

“We had a fantastic stay at Pebbles. Every room is a joy to be in, and Nikki really has thought of everything. The location is ideal for the beach and just a short walk into Whitstable. Even on a blustery January day it was still a great way to spend the morning, before warming up in the Old Neptune pub. The only down side was that we didn't get to spend more time at Pebbles, because we were out enjoying everything Whitstable has to offer! Definitely keen to come back!!”

— Jess

“Pebbles is a fabulous base from which to explore the north Kent coast and hinterland - and there is so much to offer: we had no idea! Perhaps more importantly, it is a lovingly appointed and equipped base offering excellent comfort in lovely surroundings (luxury beds & bed linen being a highlight!). The house is very quiet and peaceful, only yards from a quiet stretch of beach leading into Whitstable with fabulous seascapes, changing all the time with the ebb and flow of the tide. It also has an amazing, well appointed & private outdoor space in which to relax, entertained by the throng of birds which populate the shrubbery!”

— Jackie

“We had an amazing time, Pebbles has been planned to offer so many different zones and vibes it suited our entire group ages 1 to 63! We could enjoy our time together without any pressure to venture far and it meant a weekend break felt like a proper week long holiday!”

— Emily

“We had such an amazing week at Pebbles! The house is 2 minutes walk from a secluded pebble beach and about 10 minutes drive to Whitstable with its plethora of restaurants, shops and cafes.

Nikki has thought of everything to keep you comfortable during your stay with luxury emma mattresses and pillows, gorgeous Bramley bathroom products and beautifully styled spaces for socialising, eating and relaxing in. The outdoor pink concrete bar is incredible and catches the evening sun for a well deserved sundowner once the kids are in bed. The sun loungers are more comfortable than my sofa!

The children loved Pebbles too with loads on offer in the playroom and plenty of board games and books in the first reception room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed including the all important Nespresso machine, a huge fridge freezer, sharp Opinel knives and even stylish liewood silicone tableware for the little ones.

It’s a great base for exploring the North Kent coast. We made some brilliant day trips to Canterbury, Botany Bay, Reculver, Tankerton and Faversham. The kids loved Wildwood Zoo and crabbing off Whitstable Harbour. We’d book again in a heartbeat!”

— Gemma

“Exquisite, high quality holiday home in the peaceful Seasalter. Everything you could possibly want is covered from ‘rumpus’ room for the children and outside bar and bbq for the adults.

The house itself comfortably sleeps 6 and possibly more across 3 bedrooms. The quality of the interior is above average and the extended dining room allows for many cosy nights and games from the extensive collection.

The house is great if you have a car, would recommend getting a food delivery as it’s a little way out of whitstable and not everyone delivers.

If you can get in - the sportsman is one for the adults and with the beach just behind you and location on the private Granville estate there’s easy access to the peebly beach for the kids and some amazing sunsets if the weather treats you well. Would thoroughly recommend.

— Emma

“A very well organised experience. Lovely modern space with excellent amenities and features, would recommend for a relaxing stay.”
